Why did you want to work for Mongoose?

The reputation Mongoose has in the industry I was immediately drawn to the agency when the opportunity arose. They work with a range of clients in which my own passions lie therefore it’s a perfect fit! 

Tell us a bit more about you, where you have come from and what your studied?

I’ve worked in PR for the past seven years both in-house and at multiple agencies. I’ve got a masters in PR & Comms, whilst I was at university a lecturer told me at some point in my career, I needed to work in crisis comm – so that’s what I did straight out of university for a water board. Working in sports was always my dream and I’ve been lucky enough to work with such a range of cool clients – I’ve even had a white-collar boxing match against a client!

Where do you consume your news?

Twitter and the Guardian are my go-to outlets. I flirt with BBC and SKY and occasionally from WhatsApp chats – but I’m mainly updating everyone else. 

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I like to be outdoors - swimming, cycling, running, walking. As long as I’m in nature I’m happy. I’ve got an obsession with wild/cold water swimming so most weekends I’ll be trying to find a new swim spot.

I’ve got a Cavapoo called Zeus so I can also be found trying to tire him out – I’m yet to succeed in this!

Favourite sport and team?

I love all sports – if there is an element of competition, I’m on board. 

I predominantly watch UFC, football, rugby – though recently I’ve really got into the Super League Triathlon. The shorter version is exciting and doesn’t take hours! 

I’m a tractor boy (Ipswich Town) when it comes to my team – Come on the Blues!
