THOMSON REUTERS RUGBY CLINIC

With the Rugby World Cup kicking off, Mongoose ran a Rugby Family Training Day for Thomson Reuters in Dublin at the iconic Lansdowne Rugby Club. The event saw a mixture of girls and boys of all ages excited to get stuck in with touch rugby skills sessions lead by ex-Wales grand slam winning coach Mike Ruddock. The sessions were supported by some of Ireland and Leinster’s finest players with the likes of injured Ireland RWC hopeful Rhys Ruddock and Shane Jennings who recently retired after a hugely successful career for Leinster and Ireland.

A typical Irish day meant lots of rain but that didn't dampen anyone's spirits and plenty of great rugby was played followed by an all access stadium tour at the famous Aviva Stadium. The day finished with an insightful Q&A hosted by ex-Leinster and Ireland International Mick Quinn quizzing Rhys, Shane and Mike Ruddock with an appearance from Marty Moore another Ireland RWC hopeful but out unfortunately due to injury about their thoughts and top tips for the RWC.
