Last Monday sparked another relaxation of the rules in England and the Mongoose team have been embracing the new activities in true British fashion; carrying on even when the weather is as grey as can be.
Last time we wrote about the rule changes, the geese had been back in the gym, playing football and doing water sports. This time, we’ve taken the ‘Entertainment’ side of our namesake to heart.
Cat was “out out”. She took full advantage, kicking the week off with an overnight stay in a hotel, two meals inside, three pubs visits and four very happy people.
Becky went to the pub with her mum and brother on Tuesday for dinner. Reunited after 4 months and many miles apart from each other. Esmee had dinner with friends from school planned and drinks with the cousins the following day! Not to be outdone, Jack has booked himself a romantic meal for two at Bob Bob Ricard with his girlfriend.
That doesn’t mean we’re not still working out. Harvey booked in a few spin classes this week, although he admits he’s much more excited for the odd indoor restaurant booking.
Larger gatherings mean that both Kirstyn and Amelie had BBQ’s planned for the weekend. New BBQ’s had been ordered, and gazebos put on hold to ensure the celebrations went ahead rain or shine.
And finally, Chris is the envy of the office. This weekend, he headed to Goodwood to watch the horse racing at the May Festival. Exciting to see sporting events starting to take shape up and down the country.
