Why did you want to work for Mongoose?

I am a passionate sports fan with an education and background in media and marketing – which made Mongoose an ideal fit for me. I was very keen to join an agency to learn off those around me and work alongside great people and great brands. The whole team have been brilliant with me so far and I am excited for what the future holds. 

Tell us a bit more about you, where you have come from and what your studied?

I am originally from Northampton, but a lot of my family are from Swansea… hence the name.

I studied Football Journalism at the University of Derby and was fortunate enough to head straight into sports media after I graduated. I spent some time at the Daily Mail and MailOnline as a Sports Journalist, and then moved into a PR and Social Media role away from sports to gain more Marketing experience. 

Where do you consume your news?

Mostly through Twitter. I also keep up to date with news apps such as BBC and MailOnline on my phone as well as WalesOnline for all my disappointing Swansea City updates.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time, you’ll find me on the rugby pitch, at a Swansea City match, in the gym or down the pub with my friends. 

Favourite sport and team?

Football and Rugby are my favourite two sports. I’m also very into Boxing, Darts and F1. Thanks to my roots, I’m a proud Swansea City fan – a decision which has aged me significantly in recent years.
