As the PR agency for leading Irish athleisure brand Gym+Coffee, Mongoose organised +Pause to raise awareness of Gym+Coffee in the UK and strengthen the brand’s commitment to Make Lives Richer through a focus on mental wellbeing.
To launch +Pause campaign in a meaningful and authentic way, and drive Gym+Coffee brand awareness in the UK by building community and connections.
Mongoose coordinated a three-day pop-up wellbeing sanctuary in central London, inviting media, influencers and the Gym+Coffee community to enjoy a host of must-try experiences and activities. Sessions were run by some of the UK’s leading wellbeing therapists, big names in the fitness and mental health space as well as important charities and social enterprises. Everything on offer, even the décor, was backed by evidence and proven to boost happiness and help destress.
Alongside this, Mongoose worked with an expert storyteller to create the script for a soothing sleep narration which was recorded by Gym+Coffee ambassador and international superstar Niall Horan. This was launched at the +Pause event for attendees to listen to whilst relaxing in the sleep pods, and the audio was then made available for the public to download and listen to on World Mental Health Day.
• We generated 24 pieces of media coverage, across national and consumer titles, sharing the Niall Horan sleep narration and Gym+Coffee commitment to mental wellbeing.
• 20 influencers attended the +Pause event, with 121 pieces of social media coverage generated during the three days.
• There were over 100 attendees during the three-day event.
• The +Pause campaign has driven over 112 million opportunities to see and over 1 million social followers reached.
• The Niall Horan sleep narration YouTube video has been viewed 36k times.
