SIMPLYHEALTH USING CONTENT TO ENGAGE RUGBY FANS

As the agency for Simplyhealth, the trusted healthcare partner to England Rugby, the task with creating an exciting and engaging content campaign that links rugby to the launch of the SimplyMe health app.

Insight: Sport is a proven de-stressor. It forces you to apply yourself fully to the task at hand, especially as part of group routine, leaving behind thoughts and worries, increasing self-esteem and reducing stress and anxiety.

Solution: Utilising two famous faces their families, three rugby-loving groups from Romford to Birmingham, aged five up to 84 chatted all things health and well-being, mental health, body image, stress, activity and rugby in a Gogglebox style content series. Watching ‘as-live’ games, talking about the action, discussing the community and easy steps that make a difference to how they feel each day in combination with the Simplyhealth app, with a dash of humour.

  • Over 3,000 app downloads
  • Over 50,000 visits to the brand website
  • 162k total views of the hero video content
  • 1,768,658 impressions and 450,880 engagements
  • Average engagement rate of 26% across all platforms
